I want to made an inlaid veneer table for my boat. I have a source of four different coloured veneers, and want the boat's logo in the middle and a suitable subtle pattern for the rest of the table. The image shows the table, which is rectangular with rounded corners. One corner has been 'cut off'. The exact dimensions of the inside of the table where the veneer must sit is 1510mm by 505mm, and the curved corners have a radius of 90mm. So the main surface of the table must use two different light-coloured woods - oak and a poplar (Good to get some idea of the wood colours). Then the boat logo is normally in red, but I have two darker coloured wood veneers to do that in. If you google for images of "Marquetry" you will see what I am trying to achieve. But rather than cut each piece by hand I want to use a laser cutter to cut the individual pieces. So, the end result I require is an Adobe Illustrator drawing in the correct format.
