I would like to hire a Website Designer

We are setting up a deals website for the Dental Marketplace. We are looking for a competent web designer proficient in mainly CSS, Javascript and extensions of this e.g JQuery etc, to look at the design/theme (feel) of our site. We have a mock up to work off of but require a designer to take it further and finalise this side of the project. The overall layout etc is predominantly determined by functionality of the site. We are likely to have a lot of content on the site (deals) which will be the bulk of what is displayed (photos of products), but we are looking to inject something into the site that comes away from the normal, boring dental supply websites and more in line with deals websites as you would expect in other industries or the general market place. We would like this injection to also reflect in some way a bit of our personalities as well. This is to include graphics, pictures, wording and content including headings/titles if necessary but with a consistency to the theme of the site and our message. Content in terms of deals and products not required, but they will be displayed within the context of what is designed. Content should be consistent with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) wherever possible. We have somebody coding the back office and functionality of the site, predominantly using Python or PHP and Javascript, which the designs must be compatible with. This person has also provided the “mock up”/framework we would like you to use moving forward, but he is not a designer so we feel it requires some additional attention.
