html page refactoring and some simple javascript

The attached html file has html, css and javscript which is used to show the occupation of a small hotel by placing the names of people in the room. The code was written by a developer on this site a couple of years ago. I need some changes to the design to simplify the code and make it more robust. The current blueprint is created by html tables and a lot of css which is not always working. I Would like to change this by makeing the bluepring a background .jpg image. The image should not be too big in size definitely less than 200kb sand ideally around 50kb to ensure reasonable loading times. This should be easy by selecting an appropriate compression level. The image should include ONLY the blueprint (not the buttons on top). (you need to generate this image any way possible, such as a screenshot or a photo with an iPhone. but ensure the 200kb size is respected and the photo looks reasonable! The functioning of the buttons on top needs to change. Currently when we add a user to the room the javascript finds the associated id tag and updates the html. This needs to be changes so that we have a harcoded dictionary of coordinates which map to the ids so when the fill function is called, the name is placed at a hardcoded location. This locations should be stonred in a dictionary which I Can easily modify later if needed NOTES: - There are 2 pages so we need 2 images with the room. -The current buttons are used for testing, all this testing functionality needs to be there in the new version -The delivered version should look basically the same and function basically the same as the current version this is 100% refactoring, no new functionality or design! -Deliverable: a 1 page html file with 2 .jpg images <200kB corresponding to the 2 blueprings -Please validate your delivered HTML, it must not have errors/warning on standard validators. the new html is actually very simple. -the print function must work, ie when I click the print button, It should function as the current html so that when I print it fits correctly on 1 page. (so the image size must be chosen appropriately). - The result has to work ONLY in Chrome, other browsers can be ignored.
