Video Editor/ Illustrator Job Description The Video Editor/ Illustrator is responsible for participating in successful fulfilment, production, and editing of videos/ Illustration and workbook creation for Shichida Australia. This position supports Shichida Australia’s goals of providing high quality videos and Illustrations. Essential Functions ¥ Provide Shichida with professional videos in a timely manner. ¥ Editing non-linear audio and video using Final Cut Pro, and Apple motion, and/or After Effects. ¥ Illustration and workbook creation and other illustration related tasks as the needs arise. Responsibilities • Work with Shichida Australia staff in developing top quality videos • Editing video and where necessary audio for the respective videos • Maintain a daily and weekly production calendar, satisfying all deadlines. • Provide best practices expertise related to the online presentation of video, graphic and audio content. Skills and Qualifications: A successful candidate will possess ¥ Proficiency in Mac ¥ 3-5 years of video editing experience ¥ 3-5 years of illustration experience ¥ Knowledge of digital photography, video production, post production, audio and editing ¥ Motion Graphics experience and proficiency required ¥ Proficient knowledge of the following applications: ¥ Final Cut Pro X ¥ Apple Motion ¥ After Effects ¥ Illustrator an or other vector illustration program such as; Xara Extreme Pro ¥ Ability to edit and work with Green screen including colour editing and correction ¥ Proficient in production, animation and other special multi-media skills. ¥ Understanding of various SD, HD, 4K and 6K formats. ¥ Ability to meet project deadlines, keep schedules, manage costs and perform to target levels in a fast-paced production environment without compromising quality. ¥ Strong verbal, written, presentation and leadership skills. ¥ Proven track record of outstanding service to clients.
