Convert radiometric thermal image RJPG to radiometric tiff - format change

RJPEG is a proprietary format, it's not a standard. in RJPEG the radiometric data resides in jpeg metadata. Since it is proprietary there is no spec publicly disclosed. there are tools that you can buy from manufacturers such as Flir to extract and convert the data to other format. I can have a look to see if I can find the spec of RJPEG so that your project can be done. not sure what you mean by radiometric tiff. you can have either grayscale hot white or black format in tiff if that's what you mean. send me a text to discuss more. thanks.

Hello, I already write Simple and completely open source Python script to do a batch conversion of RJPG files thermal to Tiff files using your data. Useful for rapid analysis of thermal data before more stitching, radiometric, etc. The script can also do a global normalization of values. This should work for other non-thermal imagery applications too, as long as the input is a RJPG. A small modification would adapt the script to other input/output formats too...
