Facility Layout Design case study common conduit new layout

This case requires the student to develop a material handling cost from -to -chart based on a production flow chart .A facility layout must be designed for ma multi-floor manufacturing facility considering material costs,material flow patterns and department shapes. The student is also instructed to provide the analysis necessary to determine whether leasing or buying the facility in question is the better option facility issues cafeteria,restroom ,and personal flow planning may be considered.
