I'm looking for a method or program by which a (non-programmer) Windows PC user (me) can download Betfair data files and extract the information I am looking for. This request is to extract from the Betfair "Pro" sample file only. I'll then use this project to decide if I should subscribe to the Betfair historical data service. Data Source - compressed tar file (BZ2) of json format. A "Pro" sample is attached. Output - For only selections where Betfair Stating Prince <=6.0, I am looking for the last traded price in all horse racing markets two seconds after the event turns in play and 20 seconds after the event turns in play. I'd like a csv or Excel file with the columns - Place ; Date ; Time ; Place ; Race Description ; Name of runner ; Betfair Starting Price ; Price at 2 sec ; Price at 20 sec.
