Survey conducted with Qualtrics.
Data will be ready 10/27.
Analysis must be completed within 2 weeks or 11/10.
We surveyed two main types of people: (1) program directors and faculty and (2) residents and students. Both groups were asked multiple questions about how they perform surgery and learn about the Temporomandibular joint. We would like to have statistical analysis telling us the following:
(1) How did each educational group (total of 9 subgroups: faculty, program director, post-grad year 1, post-grad year 2, etc.) answer the questions (mean, median, etc)? Are the answers different? If so, are the differences statistically significant?
(2) How did the program directors and faculty (three subgroups) answer the questions (mean, median, etc) in comparison to the residents as a whole (six subgroups)? Are there differences? If so, Are the differences statistically significant?
(3) The respondents come from 6 different geographical districts. Are there geographic differences in how the questions were answered (mean, median, etc)? If so, are the differences statistically significant?
