Hello, I am working with TCS in a DWH project since last 4 years. This project is pure DWH project which comprised of DWH concept,Informatica as ETL tool and Business Object & Qlikview as reporting tool. I am working in a DWH where our DWH contains multiple datamars where mostly except few datamarts designed as Star schema. I have plenty of experience in DWH are so would be looking forward to work on this opportunity. I'm well versed with the Kimball approach as it applies in dimensional modeling and optimal design to meet reporting requirements. Depending on the size of the data warehouse - enterprise, divisional or sub-divisional, I know how to select a best-fit architecture. Based on the expected size of the bid, this data warehouse is going to be the Single Version Of Truth for a select group of business users. Between 2 and 4 normalized operational data sources exist with reasonable data quality. These data sources are not more than a few years old, and subject matter expertise is available to the extent needed. And the warehouse is going to be used for operational and tactical reporting. Not too much strategic reporting or predictive analytics expected (drives costs up.) If this is all correct - I'm an experienced information architect and I can deliver this project in good time. With a data warehousing project, anybody who guarantees business satisfaction at the outset without talking to the end users is either naive or is being deliberately overoptimistic with respect to expected results. I can perform a feasibility assessment of your data needs and if my ability to deliver does not match your expectations, I will recommend that I withdraw - at no charge aside from the cost incurred in communication and any software procured.
