Build on Open Source Quran Android App

I am looking for developing an Android app for Quran using the encodings from Open Source apps, such as iAndroid Quran ([login to view URL]) and Al-Anvar Quran Research Tool ([login to view URL]). These projects give the permission to use their codes under GNU General Public License and by acknowledging their source codes. This project actually builds up on these open source apps, rather than coding a whole new app. You will be required to customize some of the features of those apps, modify their visual design, and tweek here and there. As a final product, the app should include the following features: - The Quran app should display a default Persian translation that I will provide its text. - I should be able to update the translation file regularly. I have been working on making a Persian translation available for the open source websites such as [login to view URL] and zekr.org. So the translation file is written in the same style/format used by these two sources; Each line in the text file corresponds to a single aya, and the footnotes and explanatory comments are added inside double braces [[...]] Please see [login to view URL] Both iAndroid Quran and Al-Anvar use the translation files from the same sources. So you wouldn\'t have to change anything, but to enable me to regularly update the translation file. - The app should be able to display the footnotes and explanatory comments for the Translation either after each translated aya, or inside the translated aya text once you click on the footnote sign/number. The two Android apps do not have this feature; so you will need to introduce it copying from the Zekr desktop application. - Search function both in Quran and in the translation text. - The app can preferably be in Persian (RTL): I will provide the Persian names for the menu lists. However, if this is in anyway complicated, the app can remain in English. Overall, the app should remain very light such as iAndroid Quran. I am not looking for anything more complicated than what explained above. At the end, you will end up reducing the features of the two apps (for ex. removing the recitation) more than what you will be introducing (for ex. footnotes functionality). Experience with developing similar apps in Arabic is required.
