Mobile Application Development - Requirements This mobile app (Android & iOS) will work with an existing web application (written in PHP/AJAX/JQuery) and mySQL database. The “must-have” functions of the mobile app are as follows: A. User to user (non-financial) transactions 1. Create barcodes based on database and user information 2. Barcode scanner that can read generated barcodes from other users 3. Insert into the database the transaction that occurs with items 1-2. B. Geolocation/GPS 1. Determine the city and location of the user 2. Give directions to other users of the application 3. Give directions to locations of businesses in the database C. Contact List Access/Social Media Integration with Facebook 1. Allow users to send requests to join the application 2. Allow users to recommend businesses in the database to other users 3. Integrate with Facebook’s features D. Notifications/Search 1. Push/in-app notifications 2. Search and display information in the mySQL database -------------------------------------------------------------- For this part of the project, we need to consult with the successful freelancer regarding the above mentioned requirements. The main objective would be to see if there's any features we missed and get an idea of the time and cost to develop the application. I developed the web application for this project and would like to only talk with mobile app developers that can code for android & iOS (no salespeople).
