Write an iPhone and Apple Watch application to stream audio in FLAC

Who We Need We are in need of an iOS developer with at least 1-2 years experience building applications. Our application is focused less on the user interface or engineering a user experience and more about developing a rough prototype. A developer who has experience working with data streaming to servers, audio encoding and potentially recording via Apple Watch is preferred. What We Need Our goal is to develop a working prototype, a rough one, that takes audio from an Apple Watch (or Bluetooth device), delivers the audio to a mobile application, encodes the audio as FLAC and transmits it to a server using RTMP or another protocol. In our early investigations we've determined that recording from the Watch to device shouldn't be an issue, with core iOS library support available to solve the problem. On the device side, real-time transcoding could be done if ffmpeg, mplayer or other available libraries are leveraged. Further investigation may be necessary to prove this. We are interested in having the content stream in real-time to the server, data does not need to be retained on the device itself. Our goal is to minimize the transcoding cost/overhead and deliver the smallest possible payload while maintaining an 8Hz 8Bit audio file. We're interested in discussing creative solutions to making the task a reality as well. The device UI itself will feature three basic things: - An input field for the title of the recording - A large record button - A stop record button to cease the stream - A pause button to halt the stream but not close the session
