Hi, So your iPhone app is for walkers, to find and follow trails. I've developed several apps using the mapping and location features that you need - there are samples on my website at notyou.co.uk. You will need 3 main components: 1) An iOS app 2) A back-end database, to store the trail information (perhaps something like Back4App, or Firebase?) 3) A management system - a way to add, edit, and delete trails You don't mention any details of item 3), so I'm not sure of your thoughts on that, or if you're intending for it to be part of this project? Perhaps you envisage it being part of the iOS app, or you're thinking that you will manage the data directly from the back-end database's web interface, or perhaps it would be a separate macOS app? I develop apps for iPhone/iPad and Mac, using Xcode and Swift.
