Script Scanning Craigslist Postings and Cross Reference Data with Output Results

I need a low cost solution to scan postings in craigslist to extract details of listings (and any specifics if possible). The categories would mainly be vehicles, so details maybe: Make: Ford Model: F150, Year: 2005, etc. Once the script has the parsed information (either in session/cache/memory/database) the script will cross reference that item on another website where you can get values of vehicles. The script should output via webpage or email the results it finds. You will be responsible for coming up with search features and variables based on most make/model of cars. We can run on Windows or Linux systems that I have available. If windows based it should have a visual interface, if php it should be web based. Prefer Linux since I'm more familiar with it but open. The solution does not need to be pretty visually but should be somewhat smart enough to know various variables and allow for updates based on new search criteria.
