________________THIS IS A TUMBLR PROJECT________________ Take a look at this; [login to view URL] Password:Twinwin2 ...it behaves well in Firefox, although IE and Chrome are having trouble with some divs, so I guess the first task would be to attain cross-browser consistency. Ideally, I'm after three things; 1) Red-dashed 'content' div I'd like all posts to load in this div, without refreshing the entire page. I'm adding an mp3 player, and the flow will be disrupted if the page reloads each time. I may be able to achieve this with iframes, however I was hoping you'd have a cleaner solution. 2) Black-dashed 'nav' div I'd like the (currently dead) links to open into a modal pop up, either jQuery overlay or a Lightbox derivative. I've achieved this to some extent already (click 'self-facilitating media node') but in a limited form. I'll need links from the overlay to open in the content div (see first point), this is the main thing. 3) Use [login to view URL] for reference I'm not sure if this can easily be achieved, but currently there is a gap to the left between the green-dashed div (.content2) and the red-dashed div (.content). This is because I wish to add another div, containing further information about the post (where it was originally published, audio clips from interviews, photography accreditation etc). The problem is the information included will need to be specific to that post, so I'm not sure how to go about this. Finally, if you're familiar with building Flash elements, there's one further thing 4) Use [login to view URL] as reference (CURRENTLY SET TO AUTO PLAY - SO MAYBE TURN SOUND OFF?) I bought a full license for this 2 years ago, but the Portuguese designer has since gone AWOL, so no help there. Two things required with this; firstly, (click on album art) mp3 player fans out in a banana curve, I need this to be straight in order to house it comfortably along the left of the site. Secondly, the background file is bg.jpg. I can't find anything in the .xml or .js file that calls [login to view URL], which is a problem, as I need to use a transparent .gif (iframes tend to be loaded over the page content, even when using z-indexs, so incorporating the mp3 player as it is will block the whole site. If I can use a transparent gif, I can adjust the width of the mp3 player's iframe so it slots into the vacant space to the left of the site, therefore remaining unobtrusive). This is all I'm after - maybe I'm asking a lot but I was hoping someone with your skills would be able to walk this. It's left me stumped for a while, and I'm due to relaunch soon, so need to focus on the content itself from here on in.
