A good friend of mine is starting her own business. She has left me in charge of making sure she gets a good website that will help her get her business started.
Here is a little something about the company which is called Amberjack.
AMBERJACK is a privately held project management manpower supply organization, providing specialized professional services to the upstream Oil, Gas and Energy industries. AMBERJACK is a reliable and cost effective solution for today’s global market.
The website should be made with the latest stable build of Mamboserver. Every text and image that will be on the website should be easily available from the back-end to be edited by an end-user who doesn't have any knowledge of html/php and/or databases.
The layout of the website should be similar to the website of Trispec International [login to view URL] Most of the functionality available on the Trispec website should also be available on the Amberjack website. However it should not be an exact copy of the website because Trispec is one of the competitors. The Trispec website also uses Macromedia Flash; this should not be used on the Amberjack website. There should also be the possibility to have the website in multiple languages, however only English will be implemented, so no translation in this stage is required. If translation will be used this will be in the future and this will be a separate project. Another website that my friend really likes is [login to view URL] So most likely the amberjack website should contain a mix with best of both websites, and maybe some additional features.
However if you have some images or can find some images that can be used on the website this is very much appreciated.
Attached to this bid request is a sample document with some of the text and images that have to be used on the website.
