Joomla Template Script to display pop-up and track exit link

I require a script built into a Joomla template that is run when a user clicks on a link that directs their browser off of the site. This script does two thing, 1. It displays a pop-up saying that the user is leaving the site 2. [login to view URL](['_trackEvent', 'ExitLinks', 'Click', 'clicked']); - "ExitLinks" can be a variable that contains the address. --- Note that this script is only run with the link is external.
