I have a small free image and video host called picmecca.com. The site is made with PHP and uses Zend framework. This project is about eliminating the usage of zend framework in the site and replace it with plain and simple PHP. Functionality of the site must stay the same, but the Zend element must be removed. The reason for this is that Zend is too complicated and makes modifications to the site a hassle. Note: functionality of the site must stay the same I will provide ftp access and cpanel access to the chosen freelancer. Bid only if you can complete such a project.

Hello, My name is Ivan Hueso, and I'm a experienced web developer. I have worked with zend framework on previous projects and I understand the complexity of it and how heavy it is. I still believe Zend is a good framework, but it depends project by project on what framework to use. There are other several php frameworks like cakephp, code igniter, or even laravel, that are so much lighter and easier to understand. But again it depends of the project, and if its a really small one, you may not choose anyone and go with plain php as you mentioned.
