Shop where users can assemble parts to buy final product

Its an online shop where the user can choose spare parts, drag and drop to customize it, save it for modifications or order it online. An example product will be a bi-cycle. The user should be able to select from a variety of frames and select wheels or accessories to fit the selected frame. The final product should look real. If it's a bi-cycle it should be complete with whatever accessories the user has selected. There should also be a place where we give suggestions as to what will be best for that particular frame. After saving we should be able to get the 'configuration' so that we can assemble the cycle in the manner the user wanted it. We are not interested in Flash website. This is something that can be done with Javascript. (Suggestions are welcome!) We can take care of the front end design. What we want is the backbone where we should be able to add spares, accessories, get the configuration that the user created, calculate shipping according to country or zone, payment gateway etc. Wordpress will be an ideal platform since that will take care of many headache of scripting. However we are open to anything that is working with PHP. Ideally it should be a plugin like wp- e commerce. You can bid even if you have no previous experience. But bid ONLY if you understand what the project is and you are SURE that you can do it. We are not interested in your claims of 'being the number one' in the industry or 'experience of 10 years' All we ask is whether you understand the project and whether you will be able to do it.
