Develop an online SaaS offering for 40 grocery stores (1394907)

Develop a complete SaaS project for grocery industry. We have a total of 32 customers. Each of the customer is a grocery store outlet. So, the items they deal with are regular groceries such as Fresh produce, meat, dairy etc. Each store can have up to 40,000 items. We would like to offer a service to these stores where we will host an online store for each of the store and maintain it on their behalf. Store shoppers can visit the site to browse products and place orders to be picked up or delivered. The stores will inform us every week of price changes which we will update for them.? Store managers need a CMS to maintain store activities. We will ? need a backend to maintain individual store activities such as price updates.? There will be shopping cart+paypal payment gateway aswell. ## Deliverables Software Solutions for Retailers [SS4R] wants to develop a Software as a Service [SaaS] model for grocery stores and provide it to 32 grocery stores located in the mid west. These 32 stores are owned by 12 different companies, and the majority of the products sold in these stores is supplied by 1 major whole sale distributor. Even though all the stores share same products, their retails might be different. The retails change every week on Tuesdays. Each store has their own list of "weekly specials" and "promotions". [Some of the items may overlap between the stores.] We would like to develop a software solution where we will host an "online store"? for each of the 32 stores. ? Initially, each store will provide us with their current item list they are authorized to get from their distributor along with pertinent information such as actual information about each item. Each store can have up to 40,000 items Every week, each store will provide us with a list of price changes, promotional items, weekly specials. SS4R will host an online store for each of the 32 stores at our domain, with each store getting their own sub domain. Some stores/companies will want to point the domain to their choice.? ? ? Some stores/companies will want to have their complete website hosted by us. Using our software, grocery store retailers can have shoppers browse the items, register for weekly specials/circulars/coupons/promos, place orders, view previous orders, make lists for shopping, etc... choose pick up or delivery, pay for the order.? Using our software, grocery store managers or assistant managers can manage items*, be it to manage placed orders, to edit an order to replace certain product for an order, and other functions. SS4R will have a payment portal where regular shoppers/users can browse and place orders to be either picked up or? delivered. SS4R will have its own dedicated server on which the software and sites will be hosted. This is the overall big picture. We want a team to develop the software for a fixed price for fixed set of features. The analyst will provide us with a formal document of pre-agreed feature set and accomplish it.
