API/Datafeed Specialist/team

This project is urgent and will need to be completed very quickly. The successful bidder will be able to commence straight away and be able to complete this project very quickly. We have a travel portal designed to integrate travel feeds and display travel options to customers viewing the website. We will be building a custom data feed collection system which combines the feed data for various large travel operators into 1 singular database that is used for search, sort and filter of data to the customers of the website. Due to the differing data sources naming protocols, we have decided will utilise 1 core database and build an integrator to collect and convert the data from each source and enter it into the correct target database fields. The collection system and database design is the scope of this document. All data will be pulled in bulk regular intervals and stored in the database. No API calls on individual searches will be made. No travel purchases will need to be made off this site. The Database 2. The Management System 3. The Feed Processor 4. The front end We will first require database design where you will need to organise the core structure of the data to be stored on our server. This will be done by reviewing the data sets and coming back with a proposed schema. Following that is the development of the integrator and backend module. This will allow for manipulation of inputted data into the system as well as the addition of manual entries from suppliers in CSV format which have no API or live data source. We will believe the best way to develop this is a custom modules for Wordpress (CMS). Other options will discussable - No ASP or .NET solutions will be agreeable.
