We have a need for a website design and programming to create both the user front-end interface and the back-end admin interface. The successful bidder will be responsible for developing the look and feel of the site as well as the page flow to best facilitate customer usage. The site will provide free ACT test prep resources while providing a complete interface design for affiliate marketing ads on the pages. The back end will need to provide us with a table style design where we can manage the various ads and ad providers that we will have on our site. Affiliate ads provide embed codes for us to use to post the right ad to the right page. We basically want a table that is tied to the database where our embed codes will be stored. The table will have these headers: Vendor (Like CJ Junction or Amazon or Google) - Affiliate Site URL - Page (page name on our site) - Location (top banner or side bar, etc.) - Size - Embed code - Enable/Disable This way once we determine the product and provider we copy the embed code and past it into this database. Then in the program on each page the code will pull the embed code for each page from the database. The Enable/Disable switch in the table will allow us to selective turn off an ad if we want to while still leaving all the info in the table in case we want to come back to it. We will also need to be able to change page location for the various ads for example we may have one at at the top of page 1 and decide we want to move it to the top of a different page. We want to be able to selectively click a drop down box in the field to select the page it goes on without having to copy and paste to create a new record. All of the above is what we consider general admin management essentials. Of course being able to edit all the core text on the pages from the back-end is also necessary. There is a general site description attached to review as well. We use the milestone payment system exclusively to pay for all our work. These is our suggested milestones: 25% payment will be given when winner is selected. 25% payment will be released when we see and approve the basic look of the home page and the specific pages defined in the attachment. After that payment is released the next 25% will be given when we see and approve a back-end design that will allow us to enter page text. (CMS) The third milestone will be released when we can use the database table that allows us the enter embed codes and see the ads display in the appropriate ad space on the site. The fourth and final milestone will be escrowed and released after all final testing is done by our staff and the site works and is moved to our server and set up and is operational. There are no prepayments before milestones are met. Attached is a storyboard that may help in understanding our proposal.
