Thanks for looking at this bid request and interest in working with us. I'm attaching the RFP that we've been working on- it's still a work in progress, but should give you a better sense of our thoughts on the project, where we're going with it and what we would like it to look like.
I'm also able to share with you that this would be added-on functionality to our site, [login to view URL], the Internet home to the humor magazine. Check out the site.
We would see the MySpace functionality being a supplement to the site's
community/forum. As I mentioned, we would three categories: (1) Talent--
comedians, humorists and writers (and have a separate classification for
them); (2) Venues; and (3) fans. The RFP breaks it up further but I think
that, for ease of use, three groupings might be best.
Take a look at the RFP and our site (built on PHP) and think about the
amount of work required and whether it would be best for you to customize
something like [login to view URL] for us.
After you've had a chance to do all that, let me know how much work is

## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
