Which version exactly of SuSE and Nagios do you have installed? It might matter. ;) Yes, ssh access to both servers will be needed. And probably some additional packages will neeed to be installed. I have a httpproxy + NSCA solution in mind; although I never set up so far something similar to what you seem to need, I'm pretty sure it'd work. Thank you.

I can do the task in committed time with accurate results. I can use HTTP headers to do this job where one can receive the information from other machine.

I can offer you a solution, if in current configuration this two servers doesnt use port 80 or 443 while communicating to each other. If they use 80 or 443 to communicate with each other, it is possible to do it too, but it depends on services which are already set on this servers, and need more work.
