Use TCP Dump & write SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY messages to MySQL dbase The project requires the capture of SIP messages from an Ethernet span port using TCP Dump or T-Shark using C++ & Linux techniques and writing those raw messages to a MySQL dbase. Only SUBSCRIBE & NOTIFY SIP messages should be captured off the wire and stored. The full content of the SUBSCRIBE & NOTIFY SIP messages should be written to separate fields in the database. The schema for this new database is to be proposed by the designer/contractor. there will be a separate dbase row for each SIP dialog all NOTIFY SIP messages are to be related to it respective SUBSCRIBE message as follows: Response to Subscribe message is followed by an immediate Notify message and then a Notify message is sent every time from the server when the status for the subscribed user changes. Successful Response for a Subscribe Message will create a new dialog. To identify the Notify messages corresponding to the Subscribe message, the following parameters should be matched: Call-ID Remote Tag (To/From Field Tag) Local Tag (From/To Field Tag) Event Package (mandatory parameter present in the “Event” header) id” parameter (optional parameter within the Event header) – identifies specific subscription within a dialog  it will be necessary to measure the computer/capture probe resources used (CPU, RAM, NIC performance) to capture & filter in a given rate of SIP message flows
