Vedo: Role of Business Development Professional We are looking for a keen, driven, experienced and ambitious individual, who can really drive our company forward. We are a start-up, and this early moment in our progression requires someone with the know-how, right abilities and network to make people believe in what we have to offer, and what we already know we can do. More specifically: • The priority of the job will be to bring in new projects- we require someone who can bring in a consistent flow of projects. • The individual should be experienced in established and state-of-the-art business development techniques, and execute these appropriately according to each potential client/business opportunity. • The individual should be competent in building a good reputation for our company, as they work on obtaining business and new clients for us. • The individual should be able to embed Vedo into appropriate networks, to ensure that as a company we are aware of any individuals, organisations or events that are relevant to us; and that they are aware of us. • The reward structure of the role will be through a fixed hourly rate. The candidate will also be offered a percentage of any successful project. • Though there will be an initial fixed term employment of 3 months (2 hours, for five days of work), if we are pleased with the candidate, then we are looking to build a longer term relationship.
