Hi, I hav a script that reads a text document containing lists of subdomains and folers, and creates the corresponding subdomains in the folders stipulated. The problem is, the script only runs long enough to create 36 subdomains out of the list of 270. I want a developer to increase the duration the script will run to 2 hours max. I understand this can be done in the [login to view URL] file but cannot find the directory its supposed to be in ("usr/local/lib"). Please help.
i am skilled in php setting, please PM to discuss the details and start the fix now.

Hate it when Freelancer will make 5$ out from your tenner.
Create a php file, put <?php phpinfo(); ?> in it and you should get the location of the ini file and change the max_execution_time.
An easier solution is to try this at the top of your script
ini_set('max_execution_time', '3600'); or 0 for no limit.
be careful if a script loops it can consume all your memory and crash Apache.
Also your web server can have other timeout configurations that may interrupt your script execution
If you use cpanel, there might be a configuration option for this, I believe I've seen it before.
Also depending on your environment, setting the script execution limit can also be set in code.
There is also a time limit set by apache but I'm not sure if that applies in your case.
