Magento Custom Functionality

Hi there, so the issue is we have 2 extensions installed on our clients Staging website. 1. Is Xtento Simplify bulk orders, this allows the admin to select multiple orders and ‘Print’ them and mark them complete from the admin (see screenshot 1) [login to view URL] The second extension is Amasty Flag orders complete, this allows the admin to click a ‘flag’ icon next to the order to ‘flag’ it. [login to view URL] What the client wants is the ability to ‘bulk’ print orders (going to ‘Actions > Invoice / Print (notify customer)’ or ‘Actions > Invoice / Print (don’t notify customer)’ this then 'prints' the orders AND Flags them at the same time. See screenshot 2 for what it looks like once you bulk select orders for printing. We have modified this so this does work almost like this, the user places an order, the order comes to the admin as ‘Pending’ the admin can then select the order then select ‘Actions > Invoice / Print (with notify or don’t notify customer) and this will allow the admin to print the order AND it flags the order as printed. The issue is this, when the new order comes in, its currently set to ‘Pending’, as, if the order comes in and it’s set to ‘Processing’ it automatically flags the order as Printed even though it’s not. BUT the client needs any new orders to come in as ‘Processing’ (as it’s linked to a CRM called ZYNK for sending orders to SAGE which requires it to be automatically set to Processing). So what we would require is the order to come in as say ‘Processing’ then once the order is printed it can possibly say ‘Processing (Printed)’.
