Hi, You need a MySQL query, which you can easily run from any tool, even phpMyAdmin if your host provider has that in cPanel. If you insist on a PHP script, then that script will just contain some mundane code with database credentials, and run the de-duplication query. Questions: 1. Is that the specific table required? 2. Are those the exact field names to de-duplicate against? 3. Is this a one-off - you give me credentials, I run it once - or is this script something you want to run over and over again in future? My idea is to remove the duplicates, then re-generate the id field. Or if you want to keep the ids and only continue from the lates remaining, that's ok, too. (If you are using the IDs you will need this solution) If the data is not overly complex, I think this can be done from SQL without PHP, too. You could also prevent duplicates by setting up a unique constraint (if your input source can handle that, maybe it needs to be modified to ignore errors if there is a duplicate entry error) Maybe you could give another example where the removed entries are not the last ones to clear this question.
