Hello, I have 10+ years of extensive experience in Python, Java and software design and development. Have worked on numerous frameworks like python selenium, python flask, python celery, java spring boot, java vaadin, maven, gradle, and other. Have created crawlers and scrapers for various sites using Selenium Python for front-end based scraping and python requests and and other util modules for api based scrapping. Have implemented scrapping to route through proxy servers so that giant sites that have logic to detect scrapping and crawling can be avoided to a limit. With this project, i will be creating a script that once ran will check for the price and stock changes at a particular interval on the ebay urls and keep recording it. At a particular time defined by the user the script will send a email to a predefined list of emails via google email (need to be setup by user) with the recorded details. Hi, i write scrapper since two years with golang (chromedp) or python (selenium, beautifulsoup4 and request). I have already wrote a similar project to monitor price on list of product from a query (tag as parameters) and alert on slack when a condition is true. I need some extra details : - Do you have a template of email you want to receive. I think a table is appropriate, a row by product. - Do you provide a smtp config to send mail ? - How you can run the script ? On what kind of platform ? The script have to run on background. what I propose to you is to have a config file where you can configure recept email, hour & minute of the execution task and list of ebay urls (could be your prefered file format).
