Very Simple Basic Laravel project with CORS Enabled

Hi All Looking to solve a problem we have with our current laravel framework. We use Laravel 5.6 on domain [login to view URL] and we run both a pure javascript front end gui on xyz.com. The users login via [login to view URL] but the get request fails for a number of reasons, with each one we fix, we find another. so my requirement is simple. Rather than us trying to solve the issue, an example working version, with the correct and recommended method would be better. We can then use this as a working sample to either modify ours or adapt to this version. This working example must use best practice guidelines for method used, security and potential risks, stability and consistency, and be compatible with all browsers. We use apache2 with Laravel 5.6 on Ubuntu 16.04 LAMP servers. Web servers with javascript use Apache2 on U16.04 servers. Anything else you need just ask. Laravel expert required for this please.
