Throughout school, I have always strived to be responsible, caring and hard working. I try my best to go above and beyond for other people. I often help Prefects with duties such as teaching younger children and helping supervise younger children during break and lunchtimes. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I joined the NHS’ Contact Tracing Advisory Service and worked for three months in a very competitive professional environment. My team consistently ranked 1st place out of all 162 Contact Tracing teams in the UK. I spent this time serving the public, people in need and helping to fight against the virus. I was able to work within a large team of people and communicate effectively in a friendly and professional manner, which are vital skills as a professional. I also tutor National 5 mathematics, which develops my communication and organisation skills, since I need to be able to cater to my students’ needs while also balancing my schoolwork. Volunteering at ParkRun also helps improve my social skills. I also like to play tennis, watch documentaries and listen to podcasts to stay up to date with the world.
