I have done a similar project and this project is an extension to it... I have fair amount of hands on experience on OpenCV using Python. I guess this makes me good enough for this project. My idea is to create a mask for the target person, get the x coordinate from the masked image and based on the previous values (from the previous frame), calculate the required values.

Greetings, I’m a senior computer science and engineering student in the German University. This project is similar to my bachelor project. I used openCV and python to detect people movement, velocity and actions on public transport. I can deliver this project in 5 days maximum. It will take less time if it is for non commercial use. I also have some videos in which I tracked people and displayed their actions based on their joints’ positions and their velocity.
