Experience IT Recruiter for Senior Network Engineer Role in Greater Toronto Area

Senior Network Engineer iQonsulting is a IT Healthcare Consulting Firm. One of our client is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to strengthen its NOC/IT Service Line. This role will primarily focus on ensuring our Client’s and internal networks are secure and well maintained. Responsibilities: • Architecture and Design: Design secure network solutions based on the enterprise standard catalog and market best practices • Delivery: Deploy, configure and troubleshoot Client’s networks, on-premises or in the Cloud • Health Check: Perform network security and performance health check to Client’s environment • Operational support: Support the 24/7 managed services contract related to network and network security • Client relationship: Ensure at any point in time client is aware and satisfied of the progress of activities • Project Management: Meet the On-Time Delivery (OTD) objective, ensure tasks are tracked and followed Skills and Experience Required: • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience (5+ years) in designing, configuring and maintaining Palo Alto and Cisco solutions, especially firewalls • Strong experience with BIG-IP F5 network load balancers • Strong Network architecture and design experience • Strong Network Security experience • Experience with fiber-channel fabrics • Overall good knowledge of cybersecurity domain and principles • Ability to be on-call and work outside of business hours • Great communication and client-facing experience Additional Skills and Experience considered as an asset: • Experience with other network technologies, especially Sophos, FortiNet, WatchGuard and Dell • Palo Alto and/or Cisco certifications
