Assignment: "Opportunities for Responding to Infrastructure and Sustainability Challenges" Due Date: Friday 28th of January 2022 Task: To create a briefing on how a specific infrastructure sustainability challenge can be address through the implementation of a specific government approach. Structure: The assignment is to be structured in the following sections (please only use these headings as no other sections are required). 1) Introduction: Explain why sustainability outcomes (meaning when economic, social and environmental outcomes are all achieved at the same time) in infrastructure are important to society, with mention to a specific part of the infrastructure sector and including a case example (Word Limit = 300 words). 2) Challenges: Based on the findings of the 'Australian Infrastructure Audit', select one of the sustainability related challenges listed and provide a brief summary of why it is considered to be a challenge, with mention of when and how the impact of the challenge will likely be felt. Provide evidence to support your position. (Word Limit = 400 words) 3) Opportunities: Select an area of focus or recommendation that relates to the challenge you selected in the previous part from either the 'USA Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act' or the 'Australiana Infrastructure Plan 2021' and explain how this approach can respond to the challenge in a way that stands to deliver economic, social (political) and environmental benefits, with mention of a specific case example (Word Limit = 800 words).
