SoloCoin is an open-source startup tackling COVID crisis. We are rewarding people to engage in social-distancing. We've launched our beta and currently working on v2. We have some other backend devs actively contributing to the code part-time. We're looking for a solid backend guy with reasonable charges (as we are a month old startup with limited financial resources) that we can build a secure and scalable backend. Most of the work is done and we just need few hours of you to get this done. We are now actively looking for experienced Rails + PostgreSQL Developer interns who can deliver apps for global scalability. If they have built production-grade backend in the past then it's a huge plus. Knowledge of AWS, RDS, Serverless is a huge Bonus. Visit us at: [login to view URL] Roles And Responsibilities: 1. Build fast, scalable and secure backend for an app of global reach. 2. Write clean and safe code with the latest coding practices. 3. Suggest and implement algorithms for faster backend and less resource consumption for server. 4. Deploy the backend to the cloud. 5. Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement. 6. Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. 7. Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends. 8. Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership. 9. Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members. 10. Taking lead on projects, as needed.
