2 Operating System Simple Tasks

Hello everyone, I need some pseudocode and some simple tasks for an operating system analysis as shown below: 1. In a UNIX system in the shell the command bellow is executed sort < [login to view URL] | grep INFO > [login to view URL] Write a pseudocode for the implementation of this pipeline in the shell ( include all system calls ) 2. Implement as monitor structure a synchronization mechanism named as matchmaker. Suppose each id of a thread is a positive integer ( greater than zero ), returned by function self(). Matchmaker is variation of [login to view URL] has only one public method , the routine unsigned int make_match(). Threads which call this routine exchange ID. When a thread with ID A calls routine make_match() and takes as return value B that it means thread with ID B also called routine make_match() with return value A. For the pairing , routine make_match() can sleep all threads at will. Your answer must include (a) definition for the status variables of the monitor with illustration of the input values and (b) C-pseudocode with the implementation of routine make_match(). For mutex and condition variables call pthreads library. Thank you in advance
