I have worked with Active directory for years, I have done a lot of migrations to new domain controllers. 1. Step is joining the new windows server to the domain. 2. Ensure everything works using commands "repadmin /replsum" eventlogs etc. 3. Move the FSMO roles. 4. Check the eventlogs and ensure everything is working. 5. Use dcdiag and repadmin to verify everything is working. 6. Demote the old domain controller and ensure everything still is working. We can replace the old ip of the old server to the new to ensure that all devices are talking to the domain controller. We can upgrade domain functional level and forest level after we have completed the outlined steps. Like I do with all my clients you can talk with me doing the entire process. I have teamviewer I can complete the job using teamviewer.
