Character Rigging C4D

I have a Biped character modelled with a joints System and Controllers. I need it rigged for animation. The character is wearing a Hat that he will need to be able to lift of his head. Also he is holding a cane that he will need to hold and lean against. He will need to pick up other object yet to be defined. I have attempted to rig this character correctly but with no joy. In the files supplied, you will find my attempt. Though incorrect I think that it will help you safe some time. What would be the time frame in getting this job done. Job done C4D R15.
