Hi, I'm Matt Sergej (feel free to call me Matt), native Slovenian and will translate your .srt files from English to Slovenian. I'm a former technical writer (Doc-To-Help Certified Trainer) with 15+ years of experience, including managing projects to translate 1.5 million of words and leading Freelancer portal translation to Slovenian language till recently (not much regular work needed now). Regarding software to use I see you will provide only .srt files (without source movie) so AegiSub I often use will probably not be needed, just a simple MS Word (or I'll use OmegaT as for regular translations). Hello, I am a native Serbian speaker, English language teacher and a freelance translator. I have 19 years long experience during which I had a chance to translate content in various areas of expertise. I started translating as a student for my sister who, at the time, studied medicine. It was an unfamiliar field for me so I had to do a lot of research as I translated. This practice I maintained throughout my whole work because Serbian is not really in demand and specializing in just one field doesn't offer a lot of opportunities. The quality of my work is not affected and I can prove that in the test I would be willing to do so you can check my competency and of course, through my work if you give me the chance. Since 2016 I have been working with Sfera Studios (now Deluxe Localization). I translate subtitles and I do editing and proofreading. We use their online software to do every task and I have attended their online courses to learn how to use the software. I also learned how to make subtitles for the deaf or hard-of-hearing. I can also do time coding and subtitling offline (using Subtitle Edit) and I am currently following tutorials and learning to use PremierPro.
