We have an 2003 Microsoft Access application we need to have some structural changes done to make it up to speed with our current operations. Background: The database is a CRM system a direct mail and print house uses for their operations. Basically, they write up proposals for date sensitive production orders for direct mail jobs in the system and send it to the client. Once approved, the rep will write up the job to print out a work order to be done and track payments through the system. The production facility will check to see if the payment is made before processing the job and shipping it on the exact requested date to the post office for the specific in-home date for the piece. All the while inventory, commissions for jobs, and job status is tracked.
Below is a list of the modifications needed to database:
-Create Pop-Up window on proposal screen to make adjustments to unit costs. Negative number is a discount. Positive is an additonal charge.
-Attach Date to line items in proposal -Make top section mailing only and bottom section print and mail.
-Export to Excel Spreadsheet for total mailing spreadsheet based on date range and sales representative.
-Password protected grid like form to update pricing like the spreadsheet attached. (sample cost [login to view URL])
-Inventory tracking -Payment Tracking (currently has some functionality but needs to adjusted)
-Password protected form with Check boxes to if payments were made on job by.
-Payment Processing report -Add cost breakdown to mailing report (rate card with adjustments made)
-Update payment info to have a ACH information.
We will also need a migration path from the current access application that is being used to the upgraded one. If possible, would love to be on Access 2010 with the new version.
