Basic Website Project - for a professional organisation with less than 100 members. Replacing a very old/tired and broken website after losing the site to their hosting company going bust. The aim of the site is to drive business to organisation individual members. Site Requirements are: A basic Front Landing Page - filled with basic static content, history, and maybe some dynamic content provided to the site via basic content management (for non-technical admins to update) for example, announcements etc. Basic Organisation Contact Page Index of Members with each member having their own profile. Individual Members page - Members can be provided with an account on the site, where they can populate their information to create their public profile, complete with email, twitter links, pictures and text as well as a map to their location. There should be a either a member or site admin roles, with appropriate permissions etc. Some required features: Basic admin backend for members to login to create an editor their profiles and basic membership and front page content management for non-technical users to administer. A basic email contact form A Joining/Training with the organisation page (static content with link to contact form) The ability for public website visitors to find a member based on a postcode or geolocation - the website visitor types their postcode and the closest member profiles are presented. There may be small features to make the home/landing page more dynamic like (highlighting different random members profile etc). Integration with Google Analytics and Recapture for email form etc. Preference would be a PHP/MySQL site. That is easy to upload, install and get up and running, which in time can be modified and tweaked by other people as and when required. They have an established colour scheme and some graphics available to be used.
