Fix website speed issues

FIX WEBSITE SPEED ISSUES Please use gtmetrix, pingdom tools and page speed insights 1- Analyse and Remove plugins that are not in use (we currently have 44 but some of those are probably not used at all) – make sure this doesn’t affect the front end design/functionality – this is probably what is causing the speed issues 2- We are currently using WP rocket – maybe some settings have to be changed to get better speed / Assetcleanup seems like a good plugin that could help – I am not sure how to set it up / I am using snippets plugin and add custom css plugins, maybe this code can be inserted in the main php and css code and those plugins can be deleted – if this can help with site speed / please advise what your thoughts are 3- Make sure speed is under 3 seconds (please use testing tools for proofing) • Add expires headers • Make fewer HTTP requests • Reduce DNS lookup • Use cookie free domains • Avoid landing page redirects • Leverage browser caching • Defer parsing of Javascript • Avoid empty src or href • Reduce server response time • Remove unused CSS • Eliminate render blocking resources • Ensure text remains visible during webfont load • Serve static assets with an efficient cache policy • Avoid an excessive DOM size (1082 elements, should be under 1000) • Avoid chaining critical requests • Keep counts low and transfer sizes small • Compress components with gzip • Reduce the impact of third party code • Minimize main thread work • Reduce Javascript execution time • Reduce resources response time • 2 cookies are not secure • Content security policy is missing • 1 label does not refer to an element • Prevent clickjacking • 3 resources do not define their content type • 1 iframe could be secure with a sandbox attribute • Block access to the entire page when an XSS attack is suspected • The !important declaration is used 55 times • Disable the auto detection of resource type • Use a better file format for your fonts • Your site should use more Open Graph properties • Avoid DOM manipulation inside loops with jQuery • Avoid excessive specificity on jQuery selectors • Separate the CSS styles from the HTML tags • Do not use too long inline scripts • 5 requests from third parties don't adopt a far future cache policy • Specify a character set in the response HTTP Header • 1 CSS selector is too complex • 19 CSS properties are overridden • 50 selectors are superfluous • 2 cookies may be corrupted on the client side • 4 CSS selectors are duplicated
