Graphing Tool: This project requires creating a web based graph tool similar to those used in finance for stocks from information placed in multiple databases. Example database fields are: Date: Description: Type: Product: Generate web based graphs. This tool must count the number of records with a specific keyword in Description and or Product, within a date range and use that number to generate statistical graphs using Sparklines or a superior graphing tool. It should be able to format and display results based on "Date" ranges and or "Type". The tool should generate a new graph daily to be used as a real-time analysis tool for inclusion on the website. The tool should be able to graph multiple products into a single Index graph. This project will require converting CSV or XML files into a MySQL database. Server environment is Apache running on Linux. Current pages are written in PHP and will require extensive Database and PHP experience. - Developer will be given an example CSV or XML database to convert to MySQL and develop a working beta on his personal server. - Once the beta is approved, work with the vendor to migrate and integrate remaining CSV/XML and MySQL databases to work with the Graphing Tool - Iron out existing wrinkles Vendor may consider developing a long term relationship should the developer should this project go well.
