Hi, my name is Matt and am a former technical writer (Doc-To-Help Certified Trainer). Can you please provide more details about the topics and the (interactive?) ebook for your project? For the topics I predict you mean some modern environmental issues like environmental sustainability, the quality of life, recycling water (surface water management for cities), global warming impacts, waste re-usage etc. Regarding the ebook I can create PDF, Mobi and Epub 3 ebook formats yet also implement (Apple) iBooks interactive book. Either way I predict one focused week of research is needed when we establish and confirm topics and subtopics. I still have access to ProQuest and Emerald online academic databases (of science papers, mainly social sciences) that would suffice with searching some natural sciences academic sources by visiting a national library 50 miles away. After that a writing phase with ebook in mind would follow and final editing, proofreading and ebook creation would be last. Yes, the motivation is the amount available yet I'd like to create a reference project for me. Recently I have written a shorter paper on FoxConn issues with - bad - work conditions in their factories (where Apple iPad and other devices are manufactured) and am generally interested to visit Hong Kong and China one day.
