We have installed mysql-proxy-cache [1] on our productive linux server and need help getting it to work.
Basically it is a LUA-script for use with the mysql-proxy [2] software. Its job is it to cache responses to queries coming from the mysql-server to a memcached [3]-server. The script itself is running already but is not behaving the way it is intended. To be precise: Its cache_set()-function is not having access to the resultset of the servers response. Maybe this project will also require you to have some C - skills in order to spot a possible problem with mysql-proxy. SSH access to the productive system can NOT be supplied. We will however give you access via Teamviewer. For a skilled person that is familiar with these setups this job should take no longer than 1-2 hours.
