We are wanting to run a dental conference in the Croydon area, Surrey (south London suburbs), for 200-300 participants in March 2016. This will be the 16th and largest, so we are thinking that some professional help may be needed. Will have to arrange whole event, with assistance.

I have PRINCE 2 Foundation Project Management qualification in addition to a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Birmingham. I believe the knowledge I have acquired through these qualifications are what you are looking for. I have demonstrated my ability to plan and prioritise heavy workload and multiple projects. One Monday morning at work my boss came in and asked me to do a number of things for him, which had to be done by 2pm the same day. I had to do 60 invoices, write up agenda for meeting and a number of other tasks. I first tend to create a to-do list on my computer using the task bar in Microsoft Outlook and for each task, I set a deadline. This way things do not get overlooked during the course of the day and help me manage my time effectively. With my to- do list, I worked out what order to do the tasks by thinking about which tasks are urgent and how important each task is. I used my time management skills to establish roughly the estimated time each task would take. By doing this I was able to complete all the tasks without missing the deadline. I pay thorough attention to details, this was evident in my MBA thesis which was written in a well organised format with no error noted. Furthermore, I think my previous managers can attest to my strict attention to details. My previous job role was a project coordinator for NICE in the UK and this very similar to what you are looking for. I am open for further discussion.

I launched a dental conference and trade-show in Abu Dhabi in 2008 and have years of experience in the conference industry. Am happy to provide my CV. What I can provide for this particular conference is the following: - Research and write conference programme based on issues and trends within the dentistry industry. - Design a speaker invitation and send 200 invites in one week. - Speaker follow-ups over 1-2 months until all the slots have been filled. I can also organise vertical streams/workshops around a specific area such as implantology or dental nursing depending on delegate profiles. In the brief I would need to know the following: - Delegate profiles - Length of conference - Affiliations ie. associations, hospitals - Is there a speaker budget? - Will the delegates receive CPD credits? - Will there be a small exhibition or sponsor area attached? This is my pitch for writing the conference agenda, handling speaker invitations and confirming speakers.
