I recently obtained my Steuernummer as a freelancer in Germany and I need to submit my first tax return. Although my registration date is recorded as 15/02/2023, there was a delay in receiving the number, which is why I haven't filed it yet. I currently hold a stable freelancer contract with a UK company, which means filing VAT is not necessary. I also don't have any expenses, so the return should be easy to make. I only produce one invoice per month. I have set up my ELSTER account and have everything ready to get started. I would greatly appreciate your guidance regarding my obligations and whether you would be able to assist me in filing these returns.
