I own a business that's just completed its first year of trading (Sep 2016 to Sep 2017). Its a skincare business. I had a bookeeper set everything up on Xero so everything is in order and up to date. No sales were made in the first year, and there are around £24k in costs, all documented, and Xero has produced an accurate balance sheet and P&L. I have my access to Companies House to file my first year accounts, but I need someone, a qualified UK accountant to go and submit the accounts online. That's it.
