Simple 2D Tactical RPG Scenario Demo I am looking to develop a 2D tactical RPG demo that is simple in design and honestly, primarily for meme value at this moment. It might, but not likely, result in a fully fledged game if attracted sufficient attention. The core concept involves a historical scenario about the violent conflicts during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Requirements: Familiar with RPG Maker / Unity. Ideally have done some indie RPG game project. Interest in Asian history preferred. My suggested roadmap: a reskin of a typical open-source tactical RPG game and only its simplest tutorial level scenario. We can use all assets generated by AI - quality is not a major concern, as long as it's functional. The gameplay involves three ally units (Swordsman, Mage, and Archer, so to speak) and four enemy units on a map with one street and two buildings as obstacles. The demo should allow easy insertion of dialogue boxes and property viewing. I can handle the actual dialogue content myself. Also a basic start screen. About Me: Corporate lawyer by profession. In my spare time, I am an indie game developer and has successfully published a reasonably popular game with my team on Steam. I have some experience with RPGMaker and Unity but lack the time and skills to create this project effectively due to my professional career. My aim is to create a framework I can easily tweak later, especially changing the textbox/graphics. Please provide a quote for the work described, considering that the project is not expected to be highly polished but rather a functional framework. My own estimation is that this could take somewhere between 10-20 hours. Please also see attached a roadmap and some AI-generated illustrations for reference only.
